Smoke travels through ductwork and settles on surfaces throughout the structure; soot is acidic and etches into finishes the longer it sits; and the smell embeds into anything porous — drywall, insulation, fabric. We treat all three: the burn, the smoke, and the odor.
What We Clean and Restore

Why Timing Matters
Soot is acidic. The longer it sits on metal, glass, and finishes, the more permanent the etching and discoloration becomes. HVAC systems that ran during or after a fire spread soot throughout the building — every duct and vent needs inspection, not just the room where the fire started.

Can smoke smell really be removed, or just covered up?
Removed. Air fresheners mask odor; we neutralize it at the source with thermal fogging, ozone, or hydroxyl treatment depending on severity, reaching into the porous materials and HVAC ductwork where the smell actually lives.
How soon after a fire should cleanup start?
As soon as the fire department clears the structure as safe to enter. Soot is acidic and becomes harder to remove — and more damaging to finishes — the longer it sits, so early cleanup protects more of what's salvageable.
